Get Involved! ‘Dracula,’ Baseball … You Name It
Now’s your chance to join an activity at Desert Hills High School.
Students at Desert Hills High School have many opportunities to become involved in clubs, sports or other activities. This past week, students auditioned for an upcoming play, “Dracula: The Musical,” while a number of sports teams held their first meetings on campus.
“Dracula: The Musical,” a spoof on the tale by Bram Stoker, will be performed at the Mesa Arts Center on May 6-9, 2010, and is directed by longtime Desert Hills drama instructor Cat Hartmann. DHHS student actors previously have performed a number of plays at the Mesa Arts Center, including “Clue” and “Grease!”
Students also met recently with coaches and Athletic Director Teresa Quinn to discuss the upcoming baseball, softball and soccer seasons. Room on the rosters is still available to any student wishing to participate in a sport, club or activity at Desert Hills High School. For more information, contact the school at 480-813-1151.
